Jeweler, former performer, and self-proclaimed magpie, Finch adores the night and all that it has to offer. Once upon a time, she was part of a traveling group of performers known as Monarch. This was, as Finch describes it, the finest time of her life and she enjoyed the popularity and glamour of it all.

But when a horrific incident forced the troupe to scatter, Finch seemed to all but vanish from the world. Since re-emerging, she refuses to discuss the events that took place that day. But that does not quell Finch's apparent fixation on getting the troupe back together again, nor does it completely bury her own dark little secrets...

Plot Hooks

Jeweler. Shimmering silver, gleaming gold, sparkling gems, precious pearls. Finch is quite the master of her craft. With a specialty for designing bold statement pieces in elaborate styles, Finch does not work in any shop or studio. Instead she operates out of her own home, refusing to do any mass-produced work. Each piece is meant to be as unique as its wearer.Night Life. A true child of the night in many respects, this woman adores the nightlife. If she isn't absorbed in a commission job, she's likely to be found at some of the various bars, theaters, and lounges the realm has to offer. She had a recent stint as a bartender at a place called Silver Feather Cabaret.Former Performer. Once a dancer with a troupe known as Monarch. Finch spent many years within the troupe and greatly enjoyed the lifestyle. But eventually her popularity seemed to go to her head. Living and traveling in such close quarters with so many others eventually culminated in a violent incident thanks to a peculiar affliction Finch carries with her to this day...Fang and Claw. Though she tries hard to hide it and blend in with society, Finch cannot escape the fact that she is afflicted with vampirism. It was this which caused Monarch's downfall, and Finch to go into hiding for a few years. She lived a very different life before her turning, and remains haunted by what she lost. So much so, that she hides an even darker secret...That Which is Forbidden. Before her turning, Finch was happily married and had a child she diligently raised. After coming to terms with what she had become, the famly attempted to stay together. But unchecked hunger spelled their demise, and that sin haunts Finch to this day. Fueled by delusion, denial, and guilt, she seeks ever more forbidden methods to try to return what was lost.Note: Finch's vampirism is based on folklore and not meant to reflect any actual in-game lore. I am aware that this is not everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay! You do not need to acknowledge the darker occult aspects of this character in order to interact with her and I will not try to force them if exploration is not desired.
